Are there any good dark humor movies?

All the suggestions, so far, are probably good examples of "Dark Humor' , but to leave out "Dr. Strangelove" is baffling.

It won the British Academy Award for Best Picture as well as 3 other high profile categories in 1964. "Dr. Strangelove" is Kubrick's highest rated film on "Rotten Tomatoes" holding a 99% approval rating (based on 73 reviews) with an average rating of 9.1/10. The site's critical consensus reads, "Stanley Kubrick's brilliant Cold War satire remains as funny and razor-sharp today as it was in 1964." I agree completely.

Strangelove was based on the ultimate darkness (Nuclear War). How could it not be at the top of this list.

Yes there are.

These are the ones that I've enjoyed:

I would like to add Fight Club and American Psycho to the list. They were released within 6 months of each other and share commonalities that surprisingly have gone unnoticed by the critics and the viewers.

Both the movies offer a dark, satirical take on capitalistic society inhabited by shallow and greedy people deeply obsessed with material acquisition.

Although American Psycho is more psychopathic in its portrayal of blood and grotesque deaths, I found it more humorous than Fight Club with Christian Bale's character unintentionally funny with his esoteric monologues and excessive preening.

The scene where Bale's character keeps admiring himself in the mirror while having sex could easily contend for the list of best unintentional comic scenes.

Arsenic and old lace 1944 A serial killer finds out his two saintly aunts have murdered more people than he, so tries to even the score

Loot 1970 A useless bank robber, hides the loot from his robbery in his late mother's coffin, then has to hide her body up the chimney.

Arnold 1973 A dead millionaire leaves death traps and deadly games which his greedy relatives must outwit to inherit, including his mistress marrying his corpse, and tape recorded taunting clues from beyond the grave.

The old Dark House 1963 An American car salesman who may or may not be descended from a pirate who plundered the Fem family a century ago, is trapped in their stately home as people start dying all around him in increasingly bizarre ways.

Haunted Honeymoon 1986 A troubled and nervous radio actor in the 1930s, becomes convinced his family is literally trying to scare him to death.

‘'Dark humor'' is such a lovely saying. Too polite. Americans say : Black Comedy. This is easy way. Above all , the master of black comedy films is Coen Brothers. They are Americans.
