Do I have to eat healthy/keep a healthy diet to see results from exercising?Question: When is eating healthy not important?
My guess is that you already know eating healthy is an important for a long healthy life. If you want to live a short painful life, feel free to eat whatever you want, as much as you want. Still, this is a good question. We need some clarification to get to the heart of the matter.
First, you are close to being underweight. Being too slender has some health risks but it's usually better than being overweight. Calculate your Body mass Index (BMI) here: Calculate Your BMI - Metric BMI Calculator
Second, please be more specific about the results you desire.
Are you intending to lose weight? Weight loss is not recommended for you based on the height and weight you reported in the comments.
Are you intending to develop strength, endurance or cardiovascular fitness?
I hope this helps at least a little. Have a nice day.
