Does skipping burn thigh fat?
Yes, skipping can reduce body fat if done at the right time and at right intensity.
First of all there is no such thing as Spot Reduction. If you lose fat, it's the fat percentage of entire body that drops. So, skipping would reduce your thigh fat too.
It's better to do skipping first thing in the morning. At that time, your glycogen stores are empty. The energy required for doing the exercise is obtained by burning fat as a fuel.
People do skipping for hours at low intensity. This would help in reducing the fat percentage but at a snail's pace. The best technique is to do High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). Do skipping for 4–5 minutes at high intensity and then take 1–2 minutes break. Continue this for 15 minutes.
Do skipping regularly and you'll notice changes in your body within a few weeks.
