How does intermittent fasting help? Is it possible to do it while in a vigorous exercise routine?
Intermittent fasting works in multiple ways, at the level of the cell mitochondria, hormonal and cell renewal to name a few.
I am on a daily, long term intermittent fasting routine, daily strength training and occasional cardio-vascular exercise; and on a ketogenic diet.
The combination will reverse Type 2 Diabetes, contribute to weightloss and a healthy weight; provide sustained energy and slow down the ageing process.
I write from research that led me to stop 10 years of daily medication for type 2 diabetes, hypertension, early onset of arthritis and the pseudo-diagnostic condition of high cholesterol. I am off medication now for 6 years and show no symptoms of these conditions.
