Is going to gym a good thing for beginners?
When you ask about being a beginner I am taking you are old enough to go to the gym. The important thing about going to the gym when you are a beginner is the learning of how to use the equipment safely and properly and having a safe, effective, exercise routine . The gym is very beneficial to your health but can also very harmful if you do not know what you are doing.
If you are using weights and not performing the exercises correctly, you can cause injury. Proper form is so critical and is what should be focused on instead of worrying about how much weight you can lift.
Have a plan. You don't want to be doing the same exercises everytime you are there. Read as much as you can, knowledge is power.
If you are unsure what to do, ask someone who works there. We all had to start somewhere. If they are unwilling to help, then they shouldn't be working in that field.
