What are the computer games that you have played over the years?

Formula 1 was my first game ever. Its still clear in my mind, I was about 5 years old and I played F1 on P1... (Pentium 1). I really enjoyed playing it with my father.

As I grew up I started playing other games that usually children did at that time. But once we bought a used computer and I found Age of Empires 2- The Age of Kings in that computer.

This one I am obliged to answer: We still occasionally play: The Sims II, Age of Empires II, Diablo II, Settlers, Gemcraft and a few others. I understand that the question asks about a little bit different thing, but my point is: there are some old games, which are still playable after the years and there are new games with superb graphic features, which are boring after a week.

Quake, Necrodome, Duke Nukem 3d, Blood, Jane's US Navy Fighters 97, Aces of the Deep, Serious Sam: Second Encounter, Chessmaster 4000, Call of Duty 2, Thief the Dark Project, Alien vs Predator(1999), Alien vs Predator 2 (with Primal Hunt expansion), Heavy Gear 2, MechWarrior 2, Need for Speed 3: Hot Pursuit, Painkiller, Half-Life 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2, Tribes:Vengeance, Halo: Combat Evolved, StarCraft, IL-2 Sturmovik, HAWX, Fallout 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Everlasting Summer, Alliance of Valiant Arms, WarRock, Sniper Elite 3, Spintires, World of Tanks, World of Warplanes, World of Warships.

Those that I remember.

I play lots of games. And I revisit most of them from time to time.

However, as for games I still play on a regular basis, there are a few. Minecraft is probably my number one game. Both in hours played and addiction level. Not so much lately, but still way too many hours invested is Terraria. And then there is The Legend of Zelda series. I've played all the games in the series, own all but a couple and have beaten most of them. When I was younger, I would constantly play and beat Super Metroid and Super Mario RPG. And before that, it was King's Quest 1, 2 and 3 on my Tandy 1000 computer I got one Christmas long ago (and to think that I was bummed that it was not an NES). Before that, well, I played with transformers, Legos and my imagination.

So many good computer games over the years! Such as:

  • Putt Putt series
  • Freddi Fish
  • Adventure Quest (Battleon)
  • Runescape
  • Counter-Strike: Source
  • Garry's Mod
  • Bioshock
  • Elder Scrolls series (Morrowind and onward)

To name a few !

Has the internet, 24 hour news, and reality TV killed the movie star?

I firmly believe that extreme media coverage has led to a mutation in actor's aura : nowadays they HAVE to be exposed to be "famous". Some of them are only recognized for having an affair with another celebrity. Celebrity is now
