What is the best time during the day to do homework for a high schooler? I have time during my school day (free periods), right after classes and later in the evening.
When I get home from school, I've found that it is best to start my actual homework after I watch one episode of TV.
I first begin with whatever the easiest homework is. I try and rank my actual books in front of me to visualize what homework will be the hardest to complete.
Soon enough, it is time for me to clean up for dinner. By this time, I should have a good amount of my homework done, or even all of it.
Then, I eat dinner and take a shower.
After this, I begin studying for whatever tests or quizzes I will have in the next few days. If I don't have any (also known as a miracle) then I tend to take longer to complete the actual homework that I usually have done before dinner.
Then, once I've studied, it's usually close to 10 because of working coupled with procrastination//using/writing on Quora ;). At this time, I try to watch a video in German (I am in German 4) and then I pick out my outfit for the next day and get ready for bed.
This is what works best for me. I know some people who work on their homework during school, but it seems that you tend to miss out on other things that are happening if you do this.
