What is the maximum speed of Tesla cars?
Elon Musk's personal Tesla Roadster is currently clocking up a maximum speed (relative to the Sun) of close to 121,600 km/h (75,600 mph) at perihelion.
Under its own power, that original roadster classic model top speed was about 201 km/h (125 mph). With a single speed gearbox, that is about 14,000rpm. It reaches 100km/h (62mph) in 3.7seconds.
As Yanick has said, it depends on which model you have in mind. My own Tesla Model S P100D will, I believe, go to about 150 mph.
The rated top speed for Tesla cars currently sold ranges from 140 mph (Model S 75D, Model X 75D, Model 3 Long Range) to 155 mph (Model S 100D and P100D, Model X 100D and P100D, Model 3 Performance).
Some earlier cars had a top speed of 130.
Tesla produces various vehicles, certain vehicles have various modes. As of Nov 2017, the Tesla Roadster in Insane Mode had a top speed of 250mph / 402kph.
In theory, #CO2Fre P三D can go up to 155 mph / 250 kmph.
The Model S P85D, a dual-motor all-wheel-drive vehicle has a governed top speed of 155 mph (249 km/h) and it accelerates from 0 to 60 miles per hour (0 to 97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds (tested to 3.1 seconds), under "Insane Mode", with 1g of acceleration.
