What is your favorite 90's TV and why?

Thanks for the A2A, actually I was a lil kid in 90's so mostly series from my home country Pakistan. Most famous were Tanhaiyaan and Dhuwan. These shows were on air before I was even born, 1985 and 1992 respectively but they used to repeat them on public demand over and over so thats how I ended up watching these series and these shows were terrific not like crap they produce these days.
The Star Trek shows, from TNG to Voyager to DS9.

edit:  Forgot to answer 'Why'?

While these shows were set in a different time and different people, they dealt with many common issues of today in a very human way. On DS9, the episode where Jake lost his father in subspace was one of the best and most moving of the series.
My 90's was spent in China, so it won't be that typical to your reference. The best one was a Hong Kong kongfu series called "The Legend of the Condor Heroes"
