What separates humans from non-human animals?
Many members of the species Homo sapiens delusionally and falsely believed/believes/will believe (often enforced by theistic/religious beliefs) that our species is the "superior species" to all other species in every way, shape, and form.
Other than that, nothing separates humans from non-human animals, as we are, always have been, and always will be animals in every way, shape, and form.
Definition of an animal: Any and all multicellular organisms and/or species who must ingest and digest other organisms and/or their products for sustenance and survival, by taking in food and liquids through the mouth, absorbing nutrients from whatever is eaten and/or drunken, and expelling the digested food and liquids as waste products in the form of feces and urine out through the anus and urethra respectively.
That's something that ALL humans have done, do, and will do.
