Will aliens be coming to visit us?

Perhaps they already have. The problem is, people assume aliens are magic genies who travel the universe, fixing everyone's problems and offering free tech because hey, they're just that nice.

Does that sound realistic? Take a look at most of the reports of alien visitations. They come at night. Abduct people when they're asleep. They erase people's memories. I even heard they keep you no longer than 90 minutes. A pretty short experience overall (and that includes transportation time of people to and from their ships). All that adds up to one thing: Secret Of Existence.

Aliens don't want us to know they're here. That's why they abduct "drunks" and don't land in the Rose Garden. You think they want a bunch of hairless apes whining and crying about this and that, demanding solutions? No. They want to study us, then move on with their lives.

Have you sent out the invitations, organised food and somewhere to stay, arranged their passage across the border..?

Oh wait, you mean the ET kind...
Sorry, my bad.

Not likely.
If they could get here, there is only one thing at the bottom of the Earths gravity well that couldn't be gained or synthesised from asteroids and long distance observation: Protein.

So serve steaks and see what happens...

Well when you read the Sumerian texts and the Egyptian text what we call aliens have been here for quite a while. These flying machines that could go in and out of mountains, in and out of water, and do fantastic feats in the air, and drop what seems like a-bombs. In the Sumerian texts the words of Enki, gives a detailed account of the event and the aftermath, much more so than the Egyptian text. When you read the modern-day The Condon Reports and Project Blue Book, military sightings, astronaut sightings, and civilian sightings, makes one wonder.
